Proper Care
To ensure the longevity of your feeders provide ample ventilation and digging space. Dry grains such as oats or wheat bran can be used as bedding. Live mealworms can be kept in the refrigerator to prolong the metamorphosis into beetles. They will need to be removed and fed every few days when kept this way. Gut load using a variety of organic vegetables and formulated gut loading diets. Moisture can be provided with fresh organic vegetables. Clean periodically to remove buildup of waste and uneaten food.
